The Senior Global Project Manager partners with senior stakeholders, manages risks, and ensures successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines while fostering collaboration across global business units.
Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead end-to-end management of large-scale, cross-border projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, resource allocations, and budgets.
- Drive execution excellence by ensuring adherence to project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for global stakeholders, including executives, regional leaders, and external partners.
- Facilitate regular governance meetings and provide transparent project reporting.
- Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and ensure alignment with evolving business priorities.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and industry best practices.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional, multicultural project teams across geographies.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within project teams.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior project managers or coordinators.
- Identify opportunities to enhance project management processes, tools, and governance models.
- Contribute to building global PMO best practices and knowledge sharing across the organization.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive project management experience, including at least 5 years in a global or regional leadership capacity.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale, complex, and multi-country projects.
- Experience in industries such as [Finance, BPO, IT, Healthcare, etc.] is a plus.
- PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or PgMP.
- Agile / Scrum Master certification is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management across diverse cultural environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (executive-level reporting).
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
- On-time, on-budget project delivery success rate.
- Stakeholder satisfaction and engagement scores.
- Achievement of project outcomes tied to strategic business objectives.
- Risk and issue resolution effectiveness.
