The Director of IT Engineering & Architecture is a leadership role responsible for driving

IT Engineering & Architecture leads a team of skilled professionals and plays a pivotal role in
shaping the organization's technical landscape.

shaping the organization's technical landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the IT engineering and architecture teams.
- Develop and execute the organization's technology architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment
- with business goals.
- Drive the evaluation, selection, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies and solutions.
- Oversee the design and development of scalable, reliable, and efficient systems and
- applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical
- solutions, and ensure successful project execution.
- Lead architecture reviews and guide architectural decisions to ensure consistency, security,
- and maintainability.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, promoting best practices and
- emerging trends in IT.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, architects, and technical specialists, providing
- guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and technology providers to identify opportunities
- for collaboration and integration.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to recommend strategic adjustments to
- the technology roadmap.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, and cost-effective technology solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in IT engineering, architecture, and technology leadership roles.
- Strong background in designing and implementing complex IT systems and applications.
- Excellent knowledge of handling IT-Operations.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, software development
- methodologies, and IT best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building
- high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, able to engage with technical and
- non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in
- complex environments.
- Familiarity with AWS and other cloud computing, DevOps practices, and emerging
- technologies.
- Good knowledge of Avaya telephony, Juniper, Extreme, Windows Server/Linux, etc.
- Prior experience in budget management, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
