Primary Objectives
This is a very exciting opportunity for a new member to join our successful, fast paced and fun eCommerce/Digital Team working on some of Australia’s biggest homewares brands like House, MyHouse, Robins Kitchens, Salt & Pepper and Baccarat.
We have 7 robust eCommerce websites and a big eCommerce team and are looking for a new member with an enthusiastic attitude and a love for digital marketing, CRO, SEO and eCommerce.
This full-time position offers the opportunity for a mid-level candidate to join a fast-paced, highly dynamic eCommerce team and environment, and to help support and contribute towards the growth and development of our eCommerce sites and digitally-focused marketing and sales efforts to hit sales targets YoY.
With a keen eye for detail, the Group eCommerce Coordinator will be crucial in supporting the team to deliver sales.
This is a very exciting opportunity, as you will be part of a large, experienced and super-fun team, working 5 days.
What You’ll Do:
Support the eCommerce Managers across all daily and weekly tasks to help drive sales on the website as well as across all
digital, SEO, Prismic content and social touchpoints.Assist the eCommerce Managers to build and schedule eDM’s using Emarsys CRM, whilst also reviewing daily and weekly checks of scheduled EDMs to ensure imagery and pricing is correct before sending out to the database.
Support the eCommerce Managers in keeping the website up to date with relevant changes and promotional material in line with scheduled promotional events, such as scheduling web banners, landing pages, campaigns and campaign pages, homepage changes and other web content on Shopify.
Support the Digital Marketing Manager on SEM and Affiliate programs, including assets, meta business suite and data analysis and ad hoc requests for SEO and AI/personalisation.
Support the Digital Marketing Manager on pop-ups and automations, SEM paid asset management and copy and weekly
reporting.Support the Digital Marketing Manager on SEO content, copy, blogs, LLM and AI-based copy and more.
Creating and loading new landing pages, collection pages, updating product data layers and feeds and updating meta tags, collection tags and product tags for sales periods on the Shopify site backend for all sales and campaigns and to cross check with
the product teams.Assisting the eCommerce Managers with the general UX and CRO maintenance of the website and merchandising across the
website using SearchSpring to ensure top selling products are seen at the top of the category or are merchandised by
campaign or event.Assist in the rollout of personalisation and CRO updates as/when they occur.
Analysing website catalogues and product roll-ups to ensure tagging and pricing are accurate and appropriate for each discount before loading through to Shopify.
Support the eCommerce Manager to analyse website and paid performance data and customer insights to identify
opportunities for improvementMust be able to work across multiple excel spreadsheets and be savvy in excel spreadsheets, as well as work across multiple eDM success and sales growth week on week across the business.
SEO and organic traffic optimisation and AI initiatives for on-site discoverability.
Reporting and analysis of data when/as required and building reports, content, copy and briefs as required to support growth
initiatives driven by the Team.Reporting on SEM paid channels to show growth WoW, MoM, and YoY by brand against forecast targets.,
Website collection and landing page builds.
Website UX merchandising and maintenance
Website and digital channels sales growth
What We’re Looking For:
Tertiary qualifications in eCommerce, Digital or Marketing (or similar) with 2-3+ years minimum digital experience in a n eCommerce/digital or retail environment with an initiative- driven marketing focus.
Must have GA4 capability, Google Ads/GMC/GTM Suite and Meta suite understanding.
Must have SEO and copywriting ability to write copy and blogs for both SEO and AI optimisation.
Ideally understands Shopify and how to build content
Ideally has experience with a CRM ( such as emarsys) or other CRM like Klaviyo/Mailchimp/Salesforce/HubSpot.
Knowledge & Skills
Initiative driven – we are looking for someone who can bring knowledge and experience with minimal direction on a day to day basis across a multitude of eComms and digital tasks.
A motivated team player with proven ability to work to a deadline and to use initiative to assist with meeting deadlines.
Analytical skills, attention to detail and competence in reviewing and understanding data.
Experience with content management systems preferable, but not essential
Strong understanding of online shopping behaviour, user experience and conversion optimisation
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ideally some basic experience in Shopify, Prismic, emarsys, GA4, Meta suite, Google suite and SEM Rush.
