The Marketplace Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of the Myer Marketplace by ensuring accurate and timely product, pricing, and promotional data management across Myer systems, primarily RETEK merchandising system and PEP product enrichment platform. This role is critical to maintaining catalogue integrity, promotional accuracy, pricing changes, product uploads, product changes
and overall operational compliance for the GRB business at Myer in store and online.

- Upload new products and SKUs into RETEK merchandising system (large uploads which may take up to 8+ hours per load).
- High attention to detail to ensure that pricing and updates are correct and do not jeopardise previous uploads within the system.
- Upload new products and SKUs for Online sales and one-day events into PEP product enrichment platform (large uploads may take up to 8+ hours) and random digital campaigns.
- Load any outstanding product copy and correctly formatted/named images against L1s as required to support the Myer team into PEP for any last minute product enrichment issues.
- Ensure all product data meets Myer Marketplace standards and naming conventions, and is cross-checked against promotional plans, digital marketing and instore marketing, as well as current SSP/Product catalogues.
- Cross check all products are live and loaded with correct pricing and dates.
- Load catalogue pricing and promotional offers line-by-line into RETEK merchandising system (complex promotions may take up to 8+ hours).
- Action ad hoc promotional changes based on internal GRB and Myer team communications on a daily basis or as when required.
- Maintain and update promotional setup checklists to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Monitor active promotions across RETEK merchandising system, PEP product enrichment platform, and live Myer online website and app to ensure consistency and accuracy and cross-check.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in pricing, product data, and promotional execution.
- Manage system compliance within RETEK merchandising system, including resolving issues raised by the Myer RETEK team.
- Cross-check stock on hand (SOH) reports and flag low stock levels for promotional SKUs where possible with Product/merch team and Online team.
- This highly depends upon level of access to GRB systems and files).
- Escalate product gaps, pricing errors, and delays in new line uploads to internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Myer key contacts for Retek and PEP and Online Enrichment team.
- Liaise with internal teams and key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of marketplace operations, loads and accuracy.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data handling, validation, and bulk uploads, v-looksup and formulas).
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
- Capability to take on role autonomously when given files and direction/dates/catalogues – only after rigorous Training from Myer Team and GRB teams.
- Experience working with merchandising or product information systems (preferably RETEK merchandising system and/or PEP product enrichment platform).
- Ability to manage repetitive, process-driven tasks with consistency and efficiency and a high level of details.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, especially when handling large uploads and tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for working with GRB stakeholders.
- Accuracy of product uploads and promotional pricing.
- Timeliness of catalogue and promotional execution.
- Reduction in errors identified post go-live.
- High attention to detail cross-checking prices, products, dates and sku levels.
- Fast responsiveness to stakeholder queries and issue resolution.
